New Life on the Horizon for Former Fort Dodge Bowling Alley

(Alpha Media- Brooke Bickford) What once was a bowling alley in Fort Dodge is now undergoing a big facelift and about to get a new life under new ownership.

The former Ridgewood Lanes was purchased in January 2022 by Justin and Deann Faiferlick and the location will be the new home of Faiferlick Taekwondo, Martial Arts and Self Defense. 

Owner Justin Faiferlick told Alpha Media that the new space will double the size of the mat space they have in their current facility. It also centralizes the martial arts business right next door to their other business, Next Edge Performance, which has already moved into the old Stiles Shop location right next door to the former bowling alley at 320 South 25th Street.

In all, Faiferlick says the project is over a one million dollar investment and the plan is to be completely moved in by the end of this month.
