No New COVID Cases Friday in Webster County

ON FRIDAY, WEBSTER COUNTY DID NOT RECORD ANY NEW POSITIVE CASES OF COVID 19.  AT HER DAILY PRESS CONFERENCE, GOVERNOR KIM REYNOLDS ANNOUNCED THAT THE MAJORITY OF BUSINESSES THAT WERE ORDERED CLOSED IN MARCH WILL BE ABLE TO REOPEN, UNDER NEW PANDEMIC GUIDELINES.  RADIO IOWA REPORTS THAT THE GOVERNOR CALLED OUR HER CRITICS, SAYING THEY FAILED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE STRESS THE CLOSURES PUT ON THE ECONOMY AND THE MENTAL HEALTH CONCERNS OF IOWANS.  REYNOLDS WENT ON TO SAY THAT ANY FUTURE OUTBREAKS OF COVID19 WILL BE MANAGEABLE 

.  REYNOLDS INDICATED SHE WAS MONITORING DATA POINTS THAT INDICATE THE THREAT IS LEVELING OFF.  REYNOLDS SAID IOWANS WILL HAVE TO LEARN TO LIVE WITH THE VIRUS AND THAT THINGS HAVE TO GET BACK TO NORMAL.  JANET PETERSON, THE SENATE DEMOCRATIC LEADER SAID THAT COVID19 CASES ARE STILL INCREASING AND THAT OPENING BUSINESSES TOO SOON WILL BE DEADLY FOR OUR HEALTH AND ECONOMY.
