“Patience A Virtue” for New Manson NW Webster Coach Marty Hart
Like all football programs around the area, Manson NW Webster will open their season Friday Night. Marty Hart will lead the Cougars on the field for the very 1st time after waiting over 2 decades to get that opportunity. Hart is in his first season at the helm after replacing longtime coach Jeff Anliker who retired from coaching after last season. While Hart is new to the position, he’s not new to football having coached for about 40 years at various levels. Hart says the move to this position is one he’s always been waiting on.
Hart says he is set on instilling a smash mouth type of style of play at Manson NW Webster.
He says he feels the personnel he has this year is a great fit for what he wants to do offensively.
Coach Hart’s run first mentality should result in a highly productive season for Manson NW Webster RB Brayden Johl. He led them in rushing last year with over 700 yards and with the expected workload in Hart’s offense could be in line to be a 1,000 rusher this year. Manson NW Webster opens their season Friday hosting Ogden at 7 PM.
