Pocahontas County Teenager Charged In Stabbing Incident

A teenager from Pocahontas County is facing charges after police say he stabbed someone. The Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Office responded Early Sunday Morning in regards to a stabbing that happened near Rolfe. When they arrived they found out that an 18 year old young man from Minnesota had been assaulted at a party and had stab wounds. He was transported to the Pocahontas Community Hospital then airlifted to a hospital in Sioux Falls for treatment. After investigating the incident, a 15 year old male from Laurens has been charged with three counts of willful injury causing bodily injury.
