Police In Des Moines Identify Victims That Were Killed & Injured In Hit & Run Tuesday

Police in Des Moines have identified the two people that died there, and the person who was injured in a hit and run. The incident occurred Tuesday night, involving two motorcycles and a car.

51 year old Jerry Coles and 47 year old Kristy Hyde died in the accident, 46 year old Stacy Coles-Behle was seriously injured. According to police, they were on two separate motorcycles and were hit by a Mercedes-Benz at an intersection.

Police say, the Mercedes collided with a utility pole after hitting the motorcycles. Reportedly, the people in the Mercedes exited the vehicle and fled the scene before police arrived.

On Wednesday Night, a vigil was held in Des Moines to honor the memory of the two people that died.

No arrests had been made in the case, as of the time of this report.
