A Polk County man was arrested after shooting at police over the weekend. Police say, 37 year old of Windsor Heights fired shots at officers after they responded to a report of domestic violence at a residence.
Officers were first on the scene around 9:30 Saturday night. A statement from the Windsor Heights PD says the standoff lasted about 30 minutes. Gunfire hit three squad cars and came close to hitting at least three officers.
Davis eventually came out of the residence and was arrested without incident. No injuries were reported from the gunfire. Davis is being charged with various crimes including three counts of attempted murder.
