RAGBRAI got underway on Sunday, as the ride began in Le Mars. The event rolls into Fort Dodge Monday with most riders expected to make it into town in the afternoon hours. Webster County Supervisor Niki Conrad and Fort Dodge City Councilman Neven Conrad were guests on “Dodger Weekly” this past Friday. The two talked about RAGBRAI Fort Dodge. Niki Conrad says the public is encouraged to come out and see the event in person.
Fort Dodge City Councilman Neven Conrad talked about the boost RAGBRAI is expected to generate for the local economy.
Neven went on to say that this year, the RAGBRAI community has shifted its focus to help local businesses.
Downtown Fort Dodge will host live entertainment Monday evening, as part of the RAGBRAI festivities.
