Reports Say Boone County Man Arrested After Alleged Assault On Underage Girl

The Fort Dodge Messenger is reporting that a Boone county man is facing charges after allegedly assaulting an underage girl. 34 year old, Andrew Lee Richards of Boone is facing charges if lascivious acts with a child, lascivious conduct with a minor, indecent contact with a child, assault with intent to commit sexual abuse and OWI. According to the Messenger, the alleged incident occurred Monday Night in Stratford. Police say Richards was intoxicated and entered a home, then went to to the victims bedroom ripped her clothes off and grabbed her. The Messenger’s report says the victim ran to a neighbors house to call for help. Richards is scheduled to appear in court next week.
