Representative Ann Meyer was a guest on “Devine Intervention” with Mike Devine on KVFD AM 1400. During her appearance she spoke about a variety of topics, starting with Iowa’s “stand your ground law” and her opinion of it.
Meyer is a republican in her 1st term in the State House. She says the early perception of her from people was that she would back the party no matter what. She says contrary to that belief, to her the people of Webster County’s interests are more important than the party line.
Meyer will be having a campaign fundraiser here in Fort Dodge on August 27th that will feature an appearance from Governor Kim Reynolds. Meyer went to talk about her perception of the job Governor Reynolds is doing.
Ann Meyer will take on democratic challenger Charles Clayton in the November election.
