Return to In-Person Learning

THE FORT DODGE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT SENT OUT A MESSAGE TO FAMILIES AND STAFF LAST NIGHT SAYING IT INTENDS TO RETURN TO FULL-TIME, IN PERSON LEARNING FOLLOWING THE WINTER BREAK.  FORT DODGE SCHOOLS HAVE BEEN ON A HYBRID MODEL FOR THE LAST SEVERAL WEEKS WHERE STUDENTS ALTERNATE DAYS THEY ARE IN THE CLASSROOM OR ONLINE.  THE MESSAGE FROM THE DISTRICT NOTED THAT THE POSITIVITY RATE HAS BEEN DECLINING IN OUR AREA FOR THE LAST SEVERAL WEEKS AND THAT, IF THAT DECLINE CONTINUES, STUDENTS WILL BE EXPECTED BACK IN THE CLASSROOM WHEN SCHOOL RESUMES ON JANUARY 4TH.  THE MESSAGE INDICATED THAT THE DISTRICT WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR COVID19 DATA THROUGHOUT THE BREAK.
