Sac County Teenager Passes Away After ATV Accident

A Sac County teenager passed away as a result of an ATV accident. Authorities say that 17 year old Ryan Stephens of Sac City was involved in an ATV accident last week. Reportedly, he was on the back of an ATV when the driver lost control and hit a tree. Stephens was taken to a Sac City hospital then transferred to a hospital in Sioux City. Stephens passed away from injuries suffered in the crash. The driver of the ATV 21 year old Kele Robinson of Sac City gave a blood sample for toxicology testing the results were still pending as of the time of this report. Police executed a warrant at Robinson’s residence in Sac City where they found drug paraphernalia and a small quantity of marijuana. The incident is still under investigation.
