Saturday’s Iowa vs Michigan Football Game Cancelled Due To Covid-19 Concerns

The Iowa Football game originally scheduled for Saturday has now been cancelled due to Covid-19 concerns. The Hawks were set to host Michigan but Michigan has backed out citing pandemic related issues. Michigan’s games the last two weeks have been cancelled amid Covid-19 concerns. This is the 1st game Iowa has had canceled all season. Sources around the Iowa program say, they do not expect Iowa to find a replacement opponent. That would mean the end of the regular season and Iowa would then await the announcement of their bowl game. The Hawks are 6-2 on the season having won their last 6 in a row. They started the season 0-2 and those two losses came by a total of 5 points.
