Scholarship Fund Created In Memory Of Area Teacher Who Died Amid Covid-19 Complications

A scholarship has been created in the memory of an area teacher who died earlier this year. Belmond-Klemme teacher Jason Englert died Nov. 8th just days after he tested positive for Covid-19. According to reports, this week his family received the autopsy report revealing his cause of death as acute respiratory syndrome brought on by Covid-19. Jason Englert’s former colleagues have now started a scholarship in his honor. Thus far $10,000 has been raised for the scholarship fund in his honor.
