School District Issues Update On Online Threat

The Fort Dodge Community School District released an update regarding the online threat posted on Indeed.com over the weekend. The District’s Director Of Communications And Community Relations Jennifer Lane said that the district is taking the threat seriously as they take any and all threats seriously. She went on to say that the district has implemented increased precautionary measures such as having resource officers increase their patrols and coordinating with local police to increase their patrols in the school areas as well. In a statement released by the district prior to this one the district stated that police do not believe the threat is credible but they are still investigating the matter.
