A school district in Wright County has announced temporary closures due to covid-19 exposure risks. The Eagle Grove School District announced Wednesday that it would be closed Thursday and Friday. They plan to go to 100% online learning on Monday and that is expected to initially last about a week and will be re-evaluated late next week. According to a statement from the district around 30% of the students at the high school level are on quarantine. Additionally, around that same number of staff members are also on quarantine. Earlier this week, the state’s website was reporting a 14 day positive rate of over 9% in Wright County.
