Search Continues for Fort Dodge Teen Wanted in Shooting Death of Another Teen

The search continues for a Fort Dodge teen charged in the shooting death of another Fort Dodge teen last week.

A 1st degree murder arrest warrant was issued for juvenile male Davonquae Jyshon Pettigew (AKA D.J.) of Fort Dodge last week. At this time he has not been taken into custody.

Pettigrew is described as being 17 years of age, 5’8” tall, and weighing 130 pounds. Pettigrew should be considered armed and dangerous. If anyone knows the whereabouts of  Pettigrew, they are encouraged to contact law enforcement or Crimestoppers immediately 515-573-1444.

Pettigrew is charged in the shooting death of 18 year old Patrick Walker of Fort Dodge and the attempted murder of another man, 20‐year‐old Silas Hall.

A 16 year old girl, identified by police as Haydin Mapel, has been arrested and charged with aiding and abetting murder and attempted murder.
