Shots Fired Incident In Fort Dodge Causes Property Damage

The Fort Dodge Police Dept. is investigating a shooting incident that caused property damage earlier this week. The Dept. issued a statement saying, that a vehicle and two houses were hit with gunfire Wednesday.

Officers were dispatched shortly after 11:45 PM Wednesday, when shots were reported at the intersections of 4th Ave South and South 14th St.

Police say an occupied parked vehicle was hit in the incident, as were two homes in that area. No injuries were reported and the incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the FDPD.
