6th Grader Killed, Five Other People Injured in Following Shooting Thursday Morning at Perry High School
A sixth grade student was killed and five other people, four of which were also students, were injured in a school shooting at Perry High School Thursday morning

17 year old Dillan Butler has been identified as the only shooter. He was armed with a pump action shotgun and a small caliber handgun. Officials say he died as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Roughly 150 officers responded to Perry following the reported shooting.
