“Spirit Of Giving” Alive And Well With Unity Point Health

The employees at Unity Point Health have been celebrating the holiday season in the spirit of giving, as they have been involved with several charitable causes in Fort Dodge and the surrounding communities. One of those causes was the “Bikes 4 Tikes” program, here’s Unity Point Health Communications Manager Alyssa Stanek on their idea to donate 250 bike helmets to that cause.

Unity Point Health CEO Leah Glasgow says another major cause they took up was their holiday festival where they raised nearly $1,500 for both the Lord’s Cupboard in Fort Dodge and The Lotus Community Project.

Altogether in 2019, Unity Point Health Fort Dodge and its affiliated facilities in the surrounding areas contributed to nearly 20 charitable causes.
