St. Edmond Cross Country To Open Season Thursday Evening

With schools around the area being back in session, fall sports are starting to open up as well. In addition, to this week being kickoff week for high school football it also will serve as opening week for cross country. St. Edmond Cross Country will open their season Thursday evening in a meet at Southeast Valley. St. Edmond Cross Country Coach Mike Szalat says that this year’s team will look to build off a strong showing last year.

Szalat says based on last year’s performance and the amount of returners the Girls team is brininging back he has high hopes for this year.

Thursday Evening’s meet at Southeast Valley will not only feature the host team and St. Edmond, but will also feature several other local area schools.
