St. Edmond Football Coach Matt Dillon Talks 3-1 Start

St. Edmond Football Coach Matt Dillon is synonymous with the “Hy-Vee Fort Dodge Coaches Corner” on “Sunny” 99.7 as he has appeared on every fall episode since it’s inception. In 2019 during a season filled with struggles finishing 2-7, Matt Dillon was there every week to talk Gaels Football. This season the Gaels through 3 weeks were unbeaten and had won by impressive margins, Matt Dillon was there every week. This Saturday Morning after the Gaels fell in Week 4 to West Hancock 55-14, (yeah you guessed it ) Matt Dillon was there. Coach joined Rob Jones to talk about the Week 4 loss and how to respond from it. His squad ran into a buzzsaw on the road against the defending state champs West Hancock who are ranked again this year. Coach Dillon talks about some of the struggles for his defense in stopping the run game not just Week 4 but in prior weeks of the season. He also talked about responding to the 1st loss of their and gearing up for Manson NW Webster this coming Friday.
