St. Edmond Football’s head man Matt Dillon joined the “Hy-Vee Fort Dodge Coaches Corner” on “Sunny” 99.7 and here on our website Saturday Morning. In week 3 the Gaels had a rare Thursday Night tilt at Dodger Stadium against North Union. St. Edmond used a 26-6 4th quarter run to put North Union away 53-27. Gaels upperclassmen made big play after big play down the stretch that fueled the run. Senior QB Dew Schaeffer had 4 total TD’s on the night, classmate Kase Baker had a TD, a forced fumble and a pick 6. Senior WR Parker Oswalt with 6 catches for 142 yards and a TD, Senior RB Sean Flattery with a TD run. Junior FB Tyler Rossmanith with 120 rushing yards, a TD run and TD catch.
