St. Edmond Girls Get Playoff Win

When a coach takes over a program they know is in a rebuilding phase, they set certain goals for the program. They know that certain achievements mark the progress of the process. One of those milestone goals is to win a playoff game. For the St. Edmond Girls that milestone came Thursday Night in resounding fashion. They had no issue in the 1st round with Ankeny Christian. St. Edmond would come out firing on all cylinders.

KC Meiners on the call of the Gracie Harvey bucket. That was part of a 22-0 1st quarter run for St. Edmond.  Gaels held Ankeny Christian to just to made field goals in the 1st half. They would cruise 58-22. Leah Neverman led St. Edmond with 14 and Mya Mclain with 10. Gaels get a playoff win in year one under Head Coach C.J. Tracy. They will move on to travel and play 2nd ranked and defending State Champs, Newell-Fonda on Tuesday Night.
