State Senator Making Waves After A Jab At Iowa House Member On Twitter

A State Senator is making waves after what could be interpreted as a controversial post on Twitter. Claire Celsi is a Democrat in the Iowa Senate who represents District 21. That district covers part of Des Moines, part of West Des Moines and Northwestern Warren County.

Over the weekend  State Representative, Eddie Andrews tweeted pictures from an event he spoke at on his twitter page. Andrews represents District 39 which covers Grimes and Johnston. Andrews is the only Black Republican House Member. Celsi responded to the pictures Andrews posted with a GIF containing the word “sellout”.  The tweet came from Celsi’s verified official Twitter page. As of late Monday Afternoon, Andrews had not issued a statement nor had he responded from his Twitter page.
