On day two at Drake Stadium athletes from North Central Iowa shined on the biggest stage in Iowa. Individual athletes from the area had silver finishes, as did a girls relay group, and a boys group took home gold.

The Distance Medley crew for Humboldt took home the Gold Medal. That group is anchored by two of the most decorated distance/cross country runners in 3A, Quinton Orr and Eric Wittrock. Also for Humboldt, Kendall Clark took silver in the shot put. Clark continues to make the case for being the best all around female athlete in the state. Silver medal at State Track, State Title level wrestler, All-State level Softball player and a standout on the hardwood. Clark does everything but the dishes, for the Humboldt Athletic Dept.
