Summer Camping Season Continues to Reopen

AS RESTRICTIONS CONTINUE TO BE LIFTED IN THE STATE OF IOWA, THE SUMMER CAMPING SEASON IS ALSO CONTINUING TO OPEN.  ACCORDING TO RADIO IOWA, KAYLA LYON UPDATED EVERYONE ON THE RECENT OPENINGS AT THE MOST RECENT CONFERENCE WITH GOVERNOR REYNOLDS, 

.  LYONS WENT ONTO SAY THAT NOT ALL AMENITIES WOULD OPEN YET, AS LODGES, SHELTERS, AND PLAYGROUNDS ARE AMONG THE AREAS REMAINING CLOSED FOR NOW.  LYONS OUTLINES THE NEW GUIDELINES FOR CAMPERS

.  LYONS SAID THE DNR HOPES TO REVISIT THESE RESTRICTIONS AS THIS SITUATION CONTINUES TO EVOLVE, AND IS HOPEFUL THAT MORE AMENITIES WILL BE PHASED BACK IN OVER TIME.  CAMPGROUNDS OPENED ON A LIMITED BASIS ON MAY 15TH.  CURRENTLY, THE DNR SAYS 75 PERCENT OF CAMPGROUND SITES CAN BE RESERVED BY GOING TO IOWA DNR DOT GOV.
