Suspect In Convenience Store Robbery Arrested

An arrest has been made stemming for a Wednesday Night robbery here in Fort Dodge. The Casey’s General Store on North 15th St, was robbed just before Midnight Wednesday Night. The Fort Dodge Police investigated the incident Thursday and got information from a witness who saw the suspect get into a vehicle parked nearby. Officers spotted the vehicle in question Thursday Morning on North 15th St. and conducted a traffic stop just north of the Casey’s store. Thursday Afternoon, FDPD executed a search warrant on a residence where they discovered evidence including two firearms. Police have arrested 23 year old Fort Dodge resident Aries N. Mcgee, he’s charged with 1st degree robbery and 5th degree theft.
