Suspect in Fort Dodge Woman’s Murder Has Died

Now two lives have been lost… as the suspect in the murder of a 26 year old Fort Dodge mother has died from a self inflicted gunshot wound.

27 year old Adarius Clayton was wanted for first degree murder and was considered armed and dangerous following the murder of 26 year old Nicole Reza Thursday night.

He was discovered by police in Des Moines and when he was approached, he took out a gun and killed himself.

According to Fort Dodge Police, Clayton had been wanted for the murder of Reza that occurred outside an apartment building at 707 7th Avenue North in Fort Dodge just before 10pm.

Fort Dodge Police officers, the Webster County Sheriff’s Office, and Fort

Dodge Fire responded to the scene where they found Reza unresponsive, she was pronounced dead after life saving efforts were unsuccessful.
