A 16 year old faces several felony charges in relation to a shooting at the Brass Monkey last September.
Morquette Jackson Junior is charged with Intimidation With a Dangerous Weapon With the Intent to Cause Serious Injury (a forcible felony resulting in the Defendant being charged as an adult), Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person, and Going Armed With Intent.
According to Webster County Court documents, a warrant was served for his arrest yesterday and his preliminary hearing will be held next Friday.
He is currently in custody.
It should be noted, the last report of shots fired causing injury or damage released by the Fort Dodge Police Department was June 18th on North 22nd Street. That report led to interviews and an arrest.
