On 105.9 “The Beach” and here on our website, South Central Calhoun is at South Hamilton. The Titans had a hard fought win 30-22 over Dike New Hartford last week as they scored late on a Brennan Holder TD run to go on to win it. It has been the tried and true recipe for Coach Brian Case and his squad of establish the run and stop the run. The later part of that equation tonight becomes more difficult, as they take tangle with a South Hamilton squad that is unbeaten. South Hamilton has ran over 2,800 yards on the season, they average 350 rushing yards per game, and feature 3 backs with over 600 rushing yards on the season. A win would give South Central Calhoun their 4th consecutive State Quarterfinals appearance. Join veteran sportscaster Mark Williamson and Brian Peters for the call of the game starting with the pregame show at 6:45 PM.

Friday Nights 3rd Round Playoff coverage also includes a special presentation of Southeast Valley football on “Sunny” 99.7 and here on our website. The undefeated Jags are fresh off a complete performance in a convincing win in their playoff opener last week. They look to continue that momentum as they host The Denver Cyclones. Jags Coach Mike Swieter says now he’s had time to watch film on Denver, but when the announcement first was made that they were playing Denver he was surprised.

Southeast Valley’s offense is led by dual threat QB Kolson Kruse who has accounted for 21 total TD’s this season. What maybe even more impressive than that is that he has thrown just one interception on the season.

Denver features multi-faceted weapon Caylor Hoffer who has accounted for 14 total TD’s, 4 rushing, 8 TD catches and 2 punt return TD’s. Coach Swieter says the biggest key to this game will be big plays.
