Tropical Smoothie Cafe Employee Tests Positive For Covid-19

Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Fort Dodge has had an employee test positive for covid-19. They confirmed the positive case in an online post Wednesday Afternoon.In the post they said they were being transparent and upfront about the issue. The post says that all of the employees that have been in contact with the person who tested positive have been notified.  The business said that the store continues to be deep cleaned prior to and following the positive test. Their post says the employee did not have any customer contact (as defined by being within 6 feet of another person for more than 15 minutes). They have closed indefinitely but they plan to re-open at a future date after all the cleaning, sanitizing and precautions are completed.
