Two Dead And Two Injured In Fort Dodge Shooting Tuesday Morning

Two people are dead and two more injured after a shooting incident that occurred Tuesday morning in the Pleasant Valley area of Fort Dodge. The Fort Dodge PD was dispatched just before 5 AM Tuesday to the 900 block of 10th Ave. SW on reports of shots fired. Officers arrived and found a man who had been shot lying in the street unresponsive. The man was pronounced dead on the scene despite life saving efforts. Two women were shot in the incident as well. A short time after that officers discovered a single vehicle accident at the intersection of South 15th St and 6th Ave. South. Upon investigation they discovered the man had been shot and lost consciousness while driving. He also was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe he was shot on the 900 block of 10th Ave SW. In total four people were shot, a 25 year old male and a 47 year old male passed away. The 21 year old woman is said to be in stable condition and the 30 year old woman was treated and released. Names of those involved have not been released as of this time. Police are still investigating the incident and trying to determine the involvement the four victims had in the incident or if they were bystanders.
