Two Dead Following Weekend Crash In Des Moines

Police in Des Moines say that two people died in a fiery crash over the weekend. Just after 1 PM Sunday, police stopped a Dodge Charger for a speeding violation. The driver fled and led police on a chase. The police lost the vehicle but were told it crashed.

When they located the vehicle the car was on fire. Immediate rescue efforts were unsuccessful due to the fire and two people were found dead.

As of Sunday night, the names of those two people had not been released.
