Two Murder Suspects Who Were At Large Turn Themselves In Tuesday
The two suspects from the June double murder who were at large turned themselves in Tuesday. 22 year old Jeremiha Hatten and 33 year old Michael J. Wells both of Fort Dodge were the remaining two of the five men. Those two and three others are charged in the June 16th shooting that killed two people and wounded two others. The Three others are 55 year old Michael J. Shivers of Eagle Grove, 35 year old James C. Davis and 23 year old Darrell L. Jones are all now in custody. A statement from the Fort Dodge PD on Tuesday, said that they believe the victims were bystanders and those charged were shooting at one another. All five of the men face two counts of 2nd degree murder and all but Hatten face an additional charge of felon in possession of a firearm.
