Two Triton Women’s Basketball Players Transfer To Same Landing Spot

Former Fort Dodge Senior High and Iowa Central standout Justice Crooks has announced she will be transferring. Crooks will be joined by her teammate Aaliyah Hull as they both will be going to play at NAIA member school Presentation College in South Dakota. Crooks was productive when healthy at Iowa Central she averaged 11 ppg and shot 50% from the floor in games this season. She missed the majority of the post Christmas schedule for Iowa Central due to injuries. Hull averaged 9 PPG and 8 boards per for the Tritons. Both players had solid Sophomore campaigns for Iowa Central. The women’s basketball program will be a “new look” program this after losing those two and fellow Sophomore Mardaeja Cross. Freshman Anni Cummings has already announced her plans to transfer to  NAIA program Benedictine University at Mesa. In addition, to the personal losses Head Coach Kelli Kruger stepped down a few weeks ago and the search for a new head coach is ongoing with an announcement on the new hire expected in the near future.
