Manson Man Dies Following Accident on Highway 7

The driver of an SUV involved in a head on collision on Highway 7 yesterday has died.

According to Iowa State Patrol Trooper Paul Gradner, Mark Rader of Manson died at the hospital last night.

The Iowa State Patrol, Webster County Sheriff’s Office and Fort Dodge Police officers were on the scene of the accident for several hours and had the road blocked off to through traffic for quite some time.

Semi driver Rod Straight of Fort Dodge was uninjured in the accident.

The accident is under investigation, but it appears to have been weather related.
