The Webster County Sheriff’s Office has made arrests in connection with multiple thefts in the Coalville area. Sheriff Luke Fleener says that two juveniles have been taken into custody on burglary charges related to those incidents.
A report Thursday afternoon from the Sheriff’s Office says that numerous thefts from vehicles were reported the first weekend of May. An investigation led to search warrants being executed on residences in Coalville and Fort Dodge.
The Sheriff’s Office says those warrants turned up guns, drugs and stolen property. The Sheriff’s office says several juveniles committed these crimes. They are withholding the names of the two arrested due to their age.
The Fort Dodge PD assisted in the investigation, which is still ongoing. The Webster County Sheriff’s Office is asking Coalville area residents to review their surveillance cameras for activity from the 1st weekend in May.
