UNI Basketball Handled By Missouri State Sunday

It has certainly not been the start that UNI hoops had hoped for. The struggles continued for them Sunday as they fell 79-59 to Missouri State. UNI was again without reigning MVC Player Of The Year A.J. Green. He has been out of line up after undergoing what they expect to be season ending hip surgery. The Bears jumped out an early lead and carried a 42-32 advantage into halftime. They would hold UNI to just 27 2nd half points, outscoring them 37-27 after intermission. The Panthers had one player in double figures, Trae Berhow with  18. Missouri State had 4 in double figures led by a game high 26 from Isaiah Mosley. The Panthers are now 1-5 on the season.
