In a game heard on KVFD AM 1400 on Monday, UNI fell at home to Bradley 75-73 after a crazy finish. UNI trailed 75-72 in the final seconds, Bradley fouled on purpose. UNI Freshman Bowen Born went to the line with 3.4 seconds left. Born made the first and missed the second one intentionally. Born got the long rebound after it was tipped and tried a three. It was off the mark and Trae Berhow tipped it in with 1.8 seconds left. The officials review the play and found the clock didn’t start until after the 3 pt. try by Born. The officials waived off the final bucket preserving the win for Bradley. Bowen Born led UNI with 17 and Trae Berhow had 15. The loss resulted in a split of the two game series as UNI beat Bradley 78-72 on Sunday.
