Update to the story Alpha Media brought you first last Thursday.
Some Fort Dodge area businesses that survived the pandemic are scrambling for new homes as they have been told they need to be moved out of the former Crossroads Mall by spring.
A sign posted at Dunham’s confirms that the store plans to close the Fort Dodge location January 16th after being in business in Fort Dodge for over 25 years.
Riddles Jewelry, Bath and Body Works, Shoe Sensation and Dunham’s are still housed in the mall.
Riddles Jewelry will be moving to its new building kiddy corner from Walgreen’s on 5th Ave South next month.
Shoe Sensation and Bath and Body Works both have plans for a new building in the Corridor Plaza. According to Shoe Sensation Manager, Brittany Drake, they will have to find temporary housing while the building is being constructed.
