After a motorcycle and foot pursuit law officers in Humboldt County arrested 34 year old Bradley Baumann Jr. He was wanted by Fort Dodge police in conjunction with multiple alleged car thefts. Tuesday afternoon Baumann was riding a motorcycle in front of a truck that had been reported stolen. An officer stopped the truck but the motorcycle fled the scene and led officers on a chase through Humboldt. Reports say Baumann lost control of the bike and crashed it into a house before running away on foot. Shortly after that je was located hiding in an apartment building nearby. He was taken into custody without further incident , he was then transported to a Humboldt hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the accident. After being released from the hospital he was taken to Webster County Jail and was booked without bond for an outstanding warrant. Investigations into the pursuit and into the stolen truck are still currently ongoing.
