WCPH Covid Vaccination Clinic Fills Up In Less Than 45 Minutes

On Tuesday afternoon, Webster County Public Health announced it is holding a Covid-19 vaccination clinic this Saturday. The clinic is for people 65 and older and will be held at the Crossroads Mall. The response to the clinic was overwhelming. Kelli Bloomquist, Public Information Officer for WCPH released a follow up statement on Tuesday Afternoon. That statement said that the 700 available slots for the clinic filled up in less than 45 minutes after being announced. Kari Prescott, Director of WCPH did say that Saturday’s clinic will be a coordinated effort. She says DART will be dropping off patients right up front. WCPH does say that future clinics are being planned and will be announced once they receive more doses of the vaccine from the state.
