Webster County Animal Protection Seeing Increase in Number of Abandoned Animals
There has been an increase in the amount of calls being made to Webster County Animal Protection in the last week in regards to abandoned animals in our community.
Just this morning Animal Protection Officer Kaila Benson says she was called to a report of two cats left in a storage container out in the cold, pictured here. Last week the calls included dogs that were out running in the country.
There are times when people are unable to care for animals and Benson says for people in those situations all they need to do is reach out to any animal shelter for help.
Benson says when you make that phone call for help, the people on the other line are going to help you find a solution.
