Webster County EMA Announces Storm Spotter Classes

Webster County Emergency Management Coordinator Dylan Hagen announced on Thursday that people from the local area will have the chance to take storm spotter classes. The classes will be put on by the National Weather Service and taught by their meteorologists.

The FREE 60–75-minute virtual multimedia presentation will cover information about identifying/reporting severe weather, spotter safety, severe weather climatology in Iowa, thunderstorm structure, and more! There are several classes, 2 of which are coming up soon – Saturday March 13th at 1 PM and Wednesday March 24th at 1 PM.
