Five male juveniles have been arrested for their alleged involvement in stealing eight guns earlier this month. On February 9th, The Webster County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported burglary. The homeowner stated that eight guns had been stolen from his shop. On February 10th, Fort Dodge Police got information regarding the location of one of the stolen guns. Detectives recovered one of the guns and followed up on leads regarding multiple locations where the other guns were being stored. Police eventually recovered 6 of the 8 guns. The juvenile males are being held at the Juvenile Detention Center in Eldora on charges of burglary, possession of stolen property and trafficking stolen firearms. Due to their ages their identities have not been released.
