Webster County Man Facing Eight Criminal Charges

A Webster County man is facing 8 criminal charges in Wright County after he allegedly robbed and attempted to kidnap a man at gunpoint in Eagle Grove. 28 year old Fort Dodge resident Blair Foy is being charged with 1st degree robbery, 2nd degree kidnapping and 6 other charges stemming from the incident. Reports allege that Foy brandished a semi-automatic handgun with a suppressor and forced a man to his knees while stealing $350 and a cell phone. Police believe Foy tried to force the man into the vehicle he was in but the man escaped due to a distraction from another party present during the incident. The stolen cell phone was recovered in a vehicle Foy had been in. The incident occurred in the 400 block of South Lucas Avenue in Eagle Grove. Foy remains in custody at the Wright County Jail on a $100,000 cash only bond.
