A Webster County man has entered a guilty plea on charges stemming from a fatal shooting in Fort Dodge last year. 33 year old Fort Dodge resident, Michael J. Wells has agreed to a plea agreement on charges of intimidation with a dangerous weapon and felon in possession of a firearm.
Those charges stem from a shooting in June of 2020, that killed two men and injured two women in the Pleasant Valley area of Fort Dodge.
Wells was originally one of five men charged with murder in the incident. The murder charges against him were dropped earlier this year. His sentencing hearing is scheduled for November.
