A Webster County man will spend the next 14 years in prison on federal drug charges. 53 year old, James Souder of Fort Dodge was sentenced Tuesday to a bid in federal prison. Souder was convicted of conspiracy to distribute meth in November of 2020.
Evidence at his sentencing hearing showed, Souder had been a part of a conspiracy that distributed nearly 50 pounds of meth. The meth was said to have been distributed in the Fort Dodge area between 2018 and summer of 2020. Souder is in the custody of the U.S. Marshals until he is transferred to federal prison.
