Webster County Mother Charged with Multiple Counts of Child Endangerment

(Alpha Media- Brooke Bickford) A Callender woman has been charged with ten counts of child endangerment – causing bodily injury as a result of an investigation into the alleged abuse of her own children.

According to Webster County Sheriff Luke Fleener, Michelle McMullen was living with Joseph Hill at the time that he was arrested and charged with multiple counts of 2nd Degree Sex Abuse and Child Endangerment. The victims in that case were identified as McMullen’s children.

At the time of Hill’s arrest it was unclear whether or not she had knowledge of alleged abuse prior to the arrest.

Sheriff Fleener says as the investigation continued they gathered evidence from the arrest of Hill and he says it became evident that she had knowledge of what was happening and failed to report it.

She was arrested yesterday and taken to the Webster County Jail.
