Webster County Public Health Announces Child Covid-19 Case

Webster County Public Health has announced that a child has tested positive for covid-19. That case is the first of its kind in the county and brings the county’s confirmed case total to 11. Five of those have recovered and have had the isolation restrictions lifted off of them. Webster County Public Health considers a patient to be recovered when they pass all CDC requirements to leave isolation. Those requirements include no fever for 72 hours, improvement of other symptoms and that at least 7 days has passed since the symptoms first appeared.
